Vegetation mapping of Färnebofjärden National Park on mission by the County Administrative Board in Västmanland.
This map will be printed for edition within The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency’s “Documentation of Swedish National parks”.
Also included in the project was:
– To produce an inundation map of the area based on altitude measurements by laser that was provided by the County Administrative Board.
– To using the vegetation map, find the “Natura 2000 habitats” within the national park.
– To insert pine- and spruce dominated areas in the vegetation map from the satellite photo from METRIA.
The Natura 2000 nature types have been found by translating the vegetation types.
